1. Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) is in the process of implementing construction of 13 MW Druk – Bindu Hydropower Plant. BPC intends to conduct comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study prior to physical implementation of the aforementioned project to obtain Environmental Clearance (EC) and, assess and mitigate environmental impacts of the project while enhancing socio- economic benefits of the proposed project.

2. BPC invites sealed bids in two parts (Technical & Financial) from eligible Bhutanese Consultancy firms registered with the Construction Development Board for the aforementioned works.

3. Complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by the bidders or their representative on submission of written application to the address given below and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Nu.500.00 only from June 22, 2010 till July 2, 2010.

4. Sealed Bid complete in all respect can be submitted to the General Manager, Engineering, Design & Contracts Department, Bhutan Power Corporation Ltd., Thimphu, Bhutan by 1030 hours on July 22, 2010 and the technical bid shall be opened on the same day at 1100 hours in the Conference Hall of BPC in the presence of bidders who may choose to attend.

5. BPC reserves the right to reject or accept bids without assigning any reason.
