IT Training for BPC Managers/Sr. Managers (Batch-1)
A Sr. Manager/Manager level IT Training was held in CMTD – Begana from June 23 to 27 2008.
The IT training was focused on the following topics:
a)Essential Computer Skills (Windows XP, Office 2003/2007, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project 2000, Basic Networking, Ant viruses, FTP, WinZip)
b)Managers perspective of BPC Application software’s viz. Financial Accounting System, Billing & Collection System and Micro Store Inventory System (MSIS)
c)Introduction to MIS and ERP system
The training was targeted for all the divisions’ heads to learn the basic IT skills and BPC application software and to help them perform their day to day works more effectively and efficiently and more importantly to contribute towards the change management process of BPC due to the introduction of computerized systems.
A total of twenty (20) division heads were trained in the first batch. Mr. Gem Tshering, Offtg. Managing Director awarded the training certificate to the trainees on the last day of the training.
In house resources were used for the above training viz. BPC training hall at CMTD – Begana, 2008 bulk procured computers, IT Division resource persons (to have a tailor-made course) so that there was less cost and more benefits from the implemented IT training and change management process.
