Human Capital Management Training

The HCM in-country training was conducted in batches of two. The first batch starting from May 28- June 2, 2012 and the second from June 5-11, 2012.
The first batch consisted of 26 employees and 27 employees in the second batch. In both the batches the participants consisted of employees from Head Office & the Dzongkhag Administration Staff (DAS).
The following topics under HCM/ BPC-SRR 2010 were covered:
- Organizational Management
- Personnel Administration.
- Training & Event Management
- Personnel Development
- Benefits & Compensation.
- Time Management
- Employee Self Service (ESS) & Manager Self Service (MSS)
- BPC-SRR-2010 rules explanation.
The training approach used by the resource persons was different from any other normal training. There was open discussion on the problems faced by the DAS in the field, the concerns and improvements that needs to be carried out in the system.
The clarity on the roles and responsibilities of the Head Office staff & DAS were discussed thoroughly. There were a lot of discussions and examples cited on various BPC-SRR 2010 rules & regulations and clarifications made. The revision of the training was done via question answer session along with group quiz. The trainees also mentioned that the question answer session and the quiz was the best part of the learning as all topics were covered.
The General Manager, HRAD attended the closing session and provided resourceful advice to the attendees and appreciation to the resource person. The event closed with photo session.
