Your Meter is Your Responsibility. Please make sure that your meter is functioning properly. If anything is wrong with your meter, please inform us immediately. Meter tampering & unauthorized connections are punishable offences

Penalty & Minimum Charges. If your bill remains unpaid or only partly paid, a penalty for the unpaid amount will be levied. In case your bill doesn’t get to you on time, it is your responsibility to get a copy of your bill from us and pay up on time to avoid penalty for late payment. If we are unable to get the actual meter reading, you will be charged based on the average of the past 3 month’s consumption Any enquiries on this bill should be made immediately to the Billing & Collection Unit of the respective Electricity Services Division within 7 days of the receipt of the bill

In the event of your cheque being dishonored Nu. 1,000/- per cheque will be debited to your account as company charges

If your address, consumer name & no., or meter no. given in the bill is incorrect, please advise us without delay

Supply will be disconnected without any further notice if bill is not paid within 3 months

Shifting the Meter. For relocating the meter, please call the local Electricity Services Division office

If you have doubts about the accuracy of your meter, please make a request for testing and deposit the meter testing charges (Nu. 30/- for single phase meters & Nu. 90/- for three phase meters). If the meter error exceeds the acceptable range of variation (which is +/- 2% for a class 2 accuracy meter), the meter will be replaced at no cost to you and the testing charges refunded.
