Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) was formed as an offshoot of the erstwhile Department of Power, the then Ministry of Trade and Industry and was launched as Public Utility Company on 1st July 2002 with an objective that the corporatization of the utility functions would lead to greater efficiency and better delivery of electricity supply services in the power sector.
Later, the Ownership was transferred to Druk Holding and Investment Limited (DHI), the commercial arm of the Royal Government of Bhutan, established in 2007 upon issuance of Royal Charter in 2007 “to hold and manage the existing and future investments of the Royal Government for the long term benefit of the people of Bhutan”
Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) invites bids from eligible Small Class W4 (Power and Telecommunications) Bhutanese contractors holding valid trade licenses and registered with the Construction Development Board (CDB) for the following works:

Interested bidders can register and submit their bids online through the BPC e-procurement portal available on BPC’s website: www.bpc.bt. Bids must be complete in all respects and accompanied by the
following documents:
a) Duly signed Integrity Pact
b) Duly signed Bid Submission Form
c) Bid Security
d) Valid CDB Certificate
e) Valid Trade License
f) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
All bids must be submitted through the Ariba e-procurement system on or before 14:00 hrs on July
29, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day at 14:30 hrs.
BPC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or annul the bidding process without assigning any reason whatsoever.
