Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) was formed as an offshoot of the erstwhile Department of Power, the then Ministry of Trade and Industry and was launched as Public Utility Company on 1st July 2002 with an objective that the corporatization of the utility functions would lead to greater efficiency and better delivery of electricity supply services in the power sector.
Later, the Ownership was transferred to Druk Holding and Investment Limited (DHI), the commercial arm of the Royal Government of Bhutan, established in 2007 upon issuance of Royal Charter in 2007 “to hold and manage the existing and future investments of the Royal Government for the long term benefit of the people of Bhutan”
The Transmission Operation and Maintenance Section (TOMS) on behalf of Bhutan Power Corporation Ltd invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and Delivery of Miscellaneous Civil / Electrical items and Hand Held tools /Equipment.
Interested eligible having valid trade license may obtain further information on the bid form and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Chief Manager, Transmission Operation and Maintenance Section, Semtokha, Bhutan Power Corporation Ltd, Thimphu Bhutan.

A complete set of bidding documents can be downloaded by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of written application along the valid trade license copy to the above address on or before 12:00 hrs of 2nd February 2026. The registration shall be done through written application together with valid trade license copy to make the bid enforceable.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security and must be delivered in accordance with the instruction to bidder on or before 12:00hrs of February 2nd 2026 and will be publicly opened at 15:00 hrs on the same date.
