Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) was formed as an offshoot of the erstwhile Department of Power, the then Ministry of Trade and Industry and was launched as Public Utility Company on 1st July 2002 with an objective that the corporatization of the utility functions would lead to greater efficiency and better delivery of electricity supply services in the power sector.
Later, the Ownership was transferred to Druk Holding and Investment Limited (DHI), the commercial arm of the Royal Government of Bhutan, established in 2007 upon issuance of Royal Charter in 2007 “to hold and manage the existing and future investments of the Royal Government for the long term benefit of the people of Bhutan”

Electricity Services Division, Bhutan Power Corporation Limited, Punakha,Dzongkhag invites sealed bids from Small Class categories of Bhutanese National Contractors with (W4) (Power and Telecommunications) having a valid Trade License and registered with the Construction Development Board (CDB) for the works mentioned below:
Name of Work: Labour Contract for Right of Way (RoW) Clearing of Medium Voltage line under Punakha and Gasa Dzongkhag.
Bid Details:
Bids complete in all respects, along with the duly signed Integrity Pact, bid submission form, and a scanned copy of the Bid Security as stipulated in the Bid Document in Ariba e-procurement, must be submitted. However, the original copy of the Bid Security must be submitted to any BPC offices before the Bid opening.
BPC reserves the right to reject or accept the Bids or annul the bidding process without assigning any reason.
