  1. BPC reserves the right to increase the number of intakes or may not take any, depending on the change in requirement of the company and/or capability of the candidates and their performance in the interview.
  2. In case, there are more requirements than the announced posts within 8 months, BPC shall recruit from the merit standby list.

  1. Citizenship ID Card.
  2. Academic Transcripts both consolidated and yearly transcripts of Degree, Class XII, and X.
  3. Degree/Provisional Certificate.
  4. Online Security Clearance Certificate (Check the validity of 1 year).
  5. Medical Certificate (check the validity of 6 months). Any overwriting shall not be accepted unless authenticated by the examining doctor.
  6. Certificates of special achievements or merit, if any.
  7. Work Experience Certificate, if any.

Tender Cancellation Notice

The Tender for “Associated Civil Works for the Augmentation Works of the 400/220/66/33 kV Indoor Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Substation at Norbugang Industrial Park (NIP), Samtse, Bhutan, vide Tender No. BPC/C&PD/CMS/TENDER-2026/05”, has been annulled.

The annulment is in reference to the cancellation of the Electrical Tender owing to unavoidable circumstances. As the civil works are required to be aligned with the Electrical contract, it has been decided to annul the above-cited tender.

Accordingly, bidders who have submitted their original Bid Security are requested to collect the same from the respective offices.

NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) is pleased to invite bids from eligible Medium Class (W1) Contractors for Resurfacing or black-topping of the approach road to 33/11kV Substation at Kewathang, Trongsa, as defined in the bidding document.

The scope of works, in brief, includes:
(a) Major and minor repairs of the road.
(b) Repairing the existing L-drain.
(c) Construction of Box drain & L-drain.
(d) Construction of Hume pipe and catch pit.

The prospective bidders must sign and submit the Integrity Pact and Bid submission form provided in the Bidding Document and a scanned copy of the Bid Security as stipulated in the Bid Document in Ariba e-procurement. The original copy of the Bid Security shall be submitted to any BPC offices before the Bid opening.

Bids complete in all respects, along with the duly signed Integrity Pact and Bid form, to be submitted through Ariba e-procurement on or before 1400 hours on February 17, 2026, and the Bids shall be opened on the same day at 1430 hours.

BPC reserves the right to reject or accept the Bids or annul the bidding process without assigning any reason.

The Salang Tendrel Ceremony for the construction of the 132/33kV Indoor Gas-Insulated Substation located at Rewan, Mongar was performed yesterday.

This is to seek blessings for the smooth commencement and successful completion of the project in accordance with traditional customs to invoke good fortune, remove obstacles, and ensure safety and prosperity throughout the project duration.

The Project Information Board was also inaugurated to marks the formal commencement of the project and signifies the commitment of all stakeholders towards timely and successful implementation.

The ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Executive Officer of Bhutan Power Corporation Limited, officials from the Tsakaling Gewog Administration, representatives from other agencies, and employees of the Bhutan Power Corporation Limited.

The construction of the substation is a vital infrastructure development aimed at strengthening the regional power network, improving system reliability, and meeting the growing electricity demand. The project reflects the government’s continued commitment to sustainable energy development and reliable power supply for the people.

The project is expected to significantly enhance the reliability, capacity, and quality of power supply in the region, while supporting socio-economic development and future load growth.
