Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) is pleased to invite bids from eligible Medium Class (W1) Contractors for Resurfacing or black-topping of the approach road to 33/11kV Substation at Kewathang, Trongsa, as defined in the bidding document.

The scope of works, in brief, includes:
(a) Major and minor repairs of the road.
(b) Repairing the existing L-drain.
(c) Construction of Box drain & L-drain.
(d) Construction of Hume pipe and catch pit.

The prospective bidders must sign and submit the Integrity Pact and Bid submission form provided in the Bidding Document and a scanned copy of the Bid Security as stipulated in the Bid Document in Ariba e-procurement. The original copy of the Bid Security shall be submitted to any BPC offices before the Bid opening.

Bids complete in all respects, along with the duly signed Integrity Pact and Bid form, to be submitted through Ariba e-procurement on or before 1400 hours on January 13, 2024, and the Bids shall be opened on the same day at 1430 hours.

BPC reserves the right to reject or accept the Bids or annul the bidding process without assigning any reason.

The selected candidates shall report to the BPC Head Office, located at Yarden Lam, Chubachu, Thimphu, on February 2, 2026, for appointment. An onboarding programme will be conducted from February 3, 2026, at the BPC Training Centre, Begana, for a duration of one week.

Candidates are requested to bring copies of a valid medical certificate, security clearance certificate, two passport-size photographs, four legal stamps, and a copy of your NC2 Certificate at the time of reporting for appointment.

The submission deadline for the Tender No. BPC/C&PD/CMS/TENDER-2025/41 (Associated Civil works for the construction of 33kV substation at Jamjee, Thimphu) is extended till 1400 hours, December 25, 2025. The Bids shall be opened at 1430 hours on the same date.

All other terms and conditions specified in the bidding documents shall remain unchanged.
