This is to notify all prospective bidders that the bid submission deadline for the work “Labour Contract for Construction of 11kV lines and substations for VTCB, RENEW at Lameygoenpa (PW26-A2)” has been extended.
The bidding documents shall remain available until 20th October, 2026. The bid shall now be received on or before 20th October, 2026 up to 1400 hours, and the bids will be opened on the same day at 1430 hours.
All other terms and conditions of the original Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) shall remain unchanged.

Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) has awarded contracts for the Supply, Construction, Testing and Commissioning of major transmission line projects under its transmission network development program.
- Gamri II–Khorlochu, Tshephu–Gamri II and Gamri I–Gamri II Transmission Lines
The contract for the Supply, Construction, Testing and Commissioning of one 400 kV D/C Transmission Line from Gamri II to Khorlochu (Twin Moose), one 220 kV D/C Transmission Line from Tshephu to Gamri II, and one 220 kV S/C Transmission Line from Gamri I to Gamri II was awarded to M/s. Shyama Power India Limited–Vajra Builders Pvt. Ltd. JV on 24 September 2026.
The contract value is Nu. 2,146 million, with a completion period of 32 months.
2. Khorlochu–Durungri Transmission Line
The contract for the Supply, Construction, Testing and Commissioning of the Khorlochu–Durungri Transmission Line (1×400 kV D/C ACSR Twin Moose) was awarded to M/s. Kalpataru Projects International Limited on 24 September 2026.
The contract value is Nu. 4,392 million, with a completion period of 41 months.
3. Durungri–Goling Transmission Line
The contract for the Supply, Construction, Testing and Commissioning of the Durungri–Goling Transmission Line (1×400 kV D/C ACSR Twin Moose) was awarded to M/s. KEC International Limited on 30 September 2026.
The contract value is Nu. 3,591 million, with a completion period of 36 months.
These transmission projects represent an important step in strengthening Bhutan’s high-voltage transmission network. In addition to enhancing the reliability and capacity of the national transmission system, the new transmission infrastructure will support the evacuation of power from major hydropower projects in eastern Bhutan, enabling the efficient transfer of generated power to the national grid and supporting the country’s growing electricity demand and export potential.
Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) is pleased to invite bids from eligible Small Class (W3) Contractors for Construction of store shed at Dekiling, Bumthang (Package-1) and Development of open store yard by construction RRM wall and chain link fencing at Kewathag, Trongsa (Package-2), as defined in the bidding document.
The scope of works, in brief, includes:
Package – 1
- Construction of Store shed (civil and electrical works)
- Development of open store yard.
- Providing and fixing chain link fencing around store shed & open yard.
Package – 2
- Development of open store yard by leveling the ground with construction of RRM wall and fill up the ground surface.
- Providing and fixing chain link fencing around the yard.
The prospective bidders must sign and submit the Integrity Pact and Bid submission form provided in the Bidding Document and a scanned copy of the Bid Security as stipulated in the Bid Document in Ariba e-procurement. The original copy of the Bid Security shall be submitted to any BPC offices before the Bid opening.
Bids complete in all respects, along with the duly signed Integrity Pact and Bid form, to be submitted through Ariba e-procurement or the link below on or before 1400 hours on October 22, 2026, and the Bids shall be opened on the same day at 1430 hours.

The prospective bidders must sign and submit the Bidding Document and a scanned copy of the Bid Security as stipulated in the Bid Document in Ariba e-procurement. The original copy of the Bid Security shall be submitted to any BPC offices before the Bid opening.
Bidders are eligible to bid for both packages under this tender; however, due to time constraints and to ensure timely execution of the works, only one package will be awarded per bidder.
