Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) is pleased to invite bids from eligible Small Class (W3) Contractors for “Construction of chain-link fencing (6×6)m around distribution substations near Buli School and Zhemgang Primary School and Laying PCC pavement within store yard for stacking of outdoors materials at Tingtibi” as defined in the bidding document.
The prospective bidders must sign and submit the Integrity Pact and Bid submission form provided in the Bidding Document and a scanned copy of the Bid Security as stipulated in the Bid Document in Ariba e-procurement. The original copy of the Bid Security shall be submitted to any nearest BPC offices before the Bid opening.
Bids complete in all respects, along with the duly signed Integrity Pact and Bid form, may be submitted through Ariba e-procurement on or before 1400 hours on April 28, 2025, and the Bids shall be opened on the same day at 1430 hours.
BPC reserves the right to reject or accept the Bids or annul the bidding process without assigning any reason.
Bhutan Power Corporation Limited has appointed Mr. Pushpa Lal Acharya as the General Manager of the Procurement Division, Construction & Procurement Department.
Mr. Acharya brings with him over 27 years of extensive experience across key operational departments, including Transmission, Construction, and Distribution. His profound understanding of the power system lifecycle will greatly contribute to a more integrated and strategic approach to procurement within the organization.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and prior to this appointment, he served as the Chief Divisional Manager of the Electricity Services Division (ESD), Gelephu, where he exhibited exemplary leadership and dedication.
