Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) was formed as an offshoot of the erstwhile Department of Power, the then Ministry of Trade and Industry and was launched as Public Utility Company on 1st July 2002 with an objective that the corporatization of the utility functions would lead to greater efficiency and better delivery of electricity supply services in the power sector.
Later, the Ownership was transferred to Druk Holding and Investment Limited (DHI), the commercial arm of the Royal Government of Bhutan, established in 2007 upon issuance of Royal Charter in 2007 “to hold and manage the existing and future investments of the Royal Government for the long term benefit of the people of Bhutan”
Central Maintenance Division Project Office (CMDPO), Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC), Thimphu, would like to extend the time for sealed bids for the following tender:

All the bidding documents can be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of written application together with the business license copy to the above address at or before 12:30 hours on 20th May 2021 for the above mentioned tender.
The bidding documents can also be downloaded from BPC website (www.bpc.bt) free of charge. However, the bidders should print a copy of the document by themselves. Bidders who have downloaded the bidding documents from the website should register themselves with CMDPO, BPC, Thimphu at or before 12:30 hours on 20th May 2021 for the mentioned tender with a written application together with the business license copy to make the bid enforceable.
