Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) was formed as an offshoot of the erstwhile Department of Power, the then Ministry of Trade and Industry and was launched as Public Utility Company on 1st July 2002 with an objective that the corporatization of the utility functions would lead to greater efficiency and better delivery of electricity supply services in the power sector.
Later, the Ownership was transferred to Druk Holding and Investment Limited (DHI), the commercial arm of the Royal Government of Bhutan, established in 2007 upon issuance of Royal Charter in 2007 “to hold and manage the existing and future investments of the Royal Government for the long term benefit of the people of Bhutan”
The Electricity Service Division Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) Punakha is pleased to invite e-bids from interested eligible bidders for the following tenders for the Supply and Delivery of Miscellaneous items.
Interested bidders can visit the BPC website www.bpc.bt to participate in the tender. User login, vendor registration, and tender participation by E-Procurement online Tender.
The Bidding Document and a scanned copy of the Bid Security is as stipulated in the Bid Document in Ariba e-procurement. The original copy of the Bid Security shall be submitted to any BPC offices before the Bid opening.
The document should be submitted through Ariba e-procurement on or before 15:00 hours on March 19, 2025, and the Bids shall be opened on the same day at 15:30 hours.
BPC reserves the right to reject or accept the Bids or annul the bidding process without assigning any reason.
