Contract Title : Supply, Construction, Testing & Commissioning of a 132kV transmission line from Wobthang Solar Project at Bumthang to Garpang.
Deadline for Submission of Bids: 28 May 2026 at 14:00 Hrs. (Bhutan Local Time).

1. The Kingdom of Bhutan has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Solar Farm Expansion Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
2. The Bhutan Power Corporation Ltd. (BPC) (the Employer) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of t Supply, Construction, Testing & Commissioning of a 132kV transmission line from Wobthang Solar Project at Bumthang to Garpang (‘the Facilities”).
3. Open competitive bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
4. Only eligible Bidders with the key qualifications defined in Section 3 (Evaluation and Qualification Criteria) of the Bidding Document may participate in this bidding.

7. Deliver your bid:
   • To the address above in para 5
   • On or before the deadline: 28 May 2026 at 14:00 Hrs. (Bhutan Local Time)
   • Together with a Bid Security as described in the Bidding Document.

Bids will be opened promptly after the deadline for bid submission in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the offices as specified in the bidding document.

BPC will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids including costs and expenses related to participation in pre-bid meeting and site visits.
