Bhutan Power Corporation Limited, in collaboration with the Bhutan Qualifications and Professionals Certificate Authority (BQPCA) under the Ministry of Education and Skill Development (MoESD), recently completed the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment for Transmission and Distribution Technicians.

The RPL assessment occurred from July 8, 2024, to July 20, 2024, and involved 74-line staff from the nationwide Distribution and Transmission Departments. The primary objective of this assessment was to enable technicians to obtain the NC2 Certificate. This certification process ensures that employees possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude required by the industry.

This assessment represents a significant step towards enhancing the professional development of our workforce and ensuring high standards in the transmission and distribution of power across Bhutan. We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants for their dedication and commitment.

Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) is pleased to invite bids from eligible Medium Class (W4) Contractors for the work “Supply and Installation of Street & Compound Lightning for KHEL colony at Doksum & DAM Colony at Buyang, Trashiyangtse Dzongkhag”, as defined in the bidding document.

The prospective bidders must sign and submit the Integrity Pact and Bid submission form provided in the Bidding Document and a scanned copy of the Bid Security as stipulated in the Bid Document in Ariba e-procurement. The original copy of the Bid Security shall be submitted to any BPC offices before the Bid opening. 

Bids complete in all respects, along with the duly signed Integrity Pact and Bid form, may be submitted through Ariba e-procurement on or before 1400 hours on August 6, 2024, and the Bids shall be opened on the same day at 1430 hours.

BPC reserves the right to reject or accept the Bids or annul the bidding process without assigning any reason.

Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) will be carrying out vendor registration from 19^th July to 16^th August 2024 to come up with the list of vendors for supply of materials. All interested manufacturers are requested to follow the following procedures and download the document below to complete the registration.

To register:

1. Download the relevant registration forms from the BPC website.
2. Complete the forms in full and provide all required details.
3. Submit the completed forms along with any necessary supporting documents to the Procurement Division office located in Thimphu.
4. Existing registered vendors must also submit their details to renew their registration.
