Bhutan Power Corporation Limited has appointed Mr. Pushpa Lal Acharya as the General Manager of the Procurement Division, Construction & Procurement Department.

Mr. Acharya brings with him over 27 years of extensive experience across key operational departments, including Transmission, Construction, and Distribution. His profound understanding of the power system lifecycle will greatly contribute to a more integrated and strategic approach to procurement within the organization.

He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and prior to this appointment, he served as the Chief Divisional Manager of the Electricity Services Division (ESD), Gelephu, where he exhibited exemplary leadership and dedication.
