The honorable CEO presided over the inauguration ceremony of the foundation for the 132kV D/C Transmission Line from 52MW Burgangchu HEP to 132kV Tingtibi Ngalam TL LILO on November 22, 2023. This momentous occasion was attended by the Director (TD), Director (CSD), GM (CD) and GM ( DCSD).
The CEO also laid Sachu Bumter to commemorate the successful completion of the project without any natural calamities.
The project office extends its gratitude to BPC management for entrusting us with the project. Special thanks are also extended to the CEO and the entire team for their invaluable contribution to the project, marking a significant milestone and inspiring and motivating the project team.
BPC Online Services Request System will be down from 6:30 PM on Friday ( November 3, 2023) until 12:00 AM on Sunday (November 5, 2023). During this period, Online Services Request system will not be accessible to the public as well as internal employees
BPC Head quarter resumed its daycare services on October 20, 2023, with an enrollment of 15 children. To mark the reopening, an event was organized and was attended by the Management. BPC recently hired two skilled daycare facilitators for Thimphu and Phuentsholing. These facilitators will be responsible for nurturing and preparing the children for preschool once they reach the age of 5.

The CEO highlighted the importance of the reliable power supply 24/7 but not at the cost of safety to public as well as employees of BPC. The CEO also acknowledged the efforts put in by the employees to serve the people by working tirelessly day and night.
